Ormskirk Golf Club - A genuine members' club

Ormskirk Golf Club, which celebrated its centenary in 1999, is a traditional members' club. The members own the land and the members' interests come first and last. It is a superb parkland course where you can get away from it all and enjoy a testing challenge of golf in the most rural of settings.
It wasn't always as peaceful as it is now - disturbed only by the sound of club on ball and shouts of 'fore'; it was once steel on steel and cries of war. The land on which the course is laid out was the scene of some the fiercest fighting during the Civil War, when nearby Lathom House was under siege.
The course is beautifully maintained, its lush fairways bordered by a variety of stunning foliage. Ormskirk is also a regular final qualifying course for the Open.
