Was Roger Milla of Cameroon, when he scored against Russia in 1994. He was 42.

Youngest Goalscorer

Pele is the yougest player to have scored in a World Cup. He was 17 when he scored against Wales in 1958

Score in every Round

This has been achieved only twice. Jairzhino scored in every World Cup game in 1970, and Alcide Ghiggia of Uruguay did likewise in 1950. However, Jairzhino played a total of 6 games compared to Ghiggia's 4

First Hat-Trick

The very first World Cup hat-trick was achieved in the innaugrual World Cup Finals in 1930 by American Bert Patenaude. He accomplished his feat against Paraguay.

First Own Goal

The same match as above also saw the first own goal. This time it was Paraguayan player Ramon Gonzales who contributed to a 3-0 victory for the USA
