The jewel in the crown of the garden village of Port Sunlight, housing the magnificent personal collection of the first Lord Leverhulme. Built by the soap magnate and philanthropist in 1922, the gallery includes Pre-Raphaelites, paintings by Turner and Constable, 18th century furniture alongside ceramics, Wedgwood, sculpture, tapestries and Napoleonic memorabilia.
